Brian Middleton has built a District Attorney's office that has earned the respect of Texas's most experienced legal professionals — and delivered for the people of Fort Bend County.
Elected in 2018, Brian Middleton set out to build a prosecutor's office that Fort Bend County could trust. Eight years later, that office is recognized by the State Bar of Texas, the Texas District & County Attorneys Association, and the prosecutors who do this work every day.
Under his leadership, the office stood up first-of-their-kind divisions, partnered with local, state, and federal agencies on operations targeting violent offenders and human traffickers, and expanded protections for victims of family violence. The work below has guided this office for eight years — and will guide the next four.
Brian's office has coordinated multi-agency operations with local, state, and federal partners — taking violent offenders, fugitives, and human traffickers off the streets of Fort Bend County and prosecuting them to the fullest extent of the law.
The office expanded protections for victims of family violence, prosecuted abusers, and partnered with the nonprofits and shelters that serve the women and children of Fort Bend County.
Brian created Fort Bend County's first Civil Rights and Public Integrity Divisions — institutionalizing accountability for those who hold positions of public trust, and working toward equal justice for every resident.
